Spark aligners are another brand of clear aligners used for orthodontic treatment, similar to Invisalign. They are designed to straighten teeth discreetly and comfortably. Spark aligners are made from a clear, durable plastic material that is custom-fitted to each patient’s teeth.
The treatment involves a series of aligners that are worn sequentially, with each aligner gradually moving the teeth into the desired position. Spark aligners are known for their clarity, stain resistance and comfort, making them a popular choice for those looking to improve their smile without the visibility of traditional braces.
Spark Aligners Vs Invisalign Aligners
What are the main differences if any between Spark and Invisalign aligners?
Improved Discretion/Stain Resistance
Spark aligners are made from an exclusive TruGen material aligner material formula which is specifically designed to be more durable, transparent and less stain resistant than rival clear aligner brands such as Invisalign.
Greater Comfort
Down to the TruGen material Spark is renowned for its comfort and fit due to its smooth and durable aligner material formula.
The Cost-Effective Option
Spark aligners provide patients with a reliable cost effective method for clear aligners as one of the leading clear aligner brands globally.

How Do Spark Aligners Work?

1
Consultation and Planning
You will have your first appointment with Dr Anthony Barnes. He will assess your teeth and suitability for Invisalign aligner treatment. Clinical assessment, photographs, x-rays and a 3D scan using the latest digital technology will be carried out.
This will allow a personalised simulation of your dream smile to be shown on the day. This is a great opportunity to ask any questions about the treatment and options available.
2
Design Process
If you are suitable for treatment,
Dr Anthony Barnes will create your bespoke smile treatment plan directly with Invisalign based on your discussions from your initial consultation.
He will then send you your finalised 3D treatment plan which will outline the process allowing any further adjustments or changes to the design prior to manufacture.
3
Fit, Wear and Adjust
Dr Anthony Barnes will schedule an appointment to fit your aligners. It is then all down to you.
The aligners need to be worn for 21-23 hours per day, only being removed when eating, drinking (other than water), or brushing your teeth. Your aligners will need to be cleaned to keep them looking at their very best.
You’ll receive a new set of aligners every week/few weeks as your teeth move.
4
Monitoring
During your treatment, you will need to attend review consultations with Dr Anthony Barnes to assess the movement of the teeth and ensure how you are doing.
This will allow Anthony to plan any adjustments or additional aligners
if required.
5
To Finish
After completing the series of aligners, your teeth should be in their corrected positions.

This is the point any other treatment may be discussed such as tooth
whitening/composite bonding/veneers.

Retainer options such as fixed and removal will be discussed and required to maintain the new alignment.
